The 4 HP Waterway Executive 56 # 3721621-1D is a durable, high-performance pump that delivers reliable water flow efficiently. Always select a replacement pump with the same part number as the Waterway part number. Pumps are rated on amperage not neccesarily horsepower. New pump amperages will vary slightly depending on the supplier of the actual motor. The RPM's remain the same with the same performance. Compatible replacement for a Gecko XP2e Model 0533-4012, GK-0800-3990000, Gecko 0543-4000-5 and Hydropool 6505155.

Honestly, I can talk about the performance of the pump itself, as I haven't had a chance to install it yet. If it is anything like the product that I am replacing - the exact same pump - then I expect I will get many years of service out of it. The current one has lasted 15 years.

Pump was replaced and working perfectly. Delivery was fast. Very knowledgeable staff.
The far bolt was worn so I had to cut it. I then used a toggle prepositioned in the new pump which dropped into the hole as I squeezed the pump in place. Look at the diagram on the pump for the correct wiring. I used an Oil filter wrench to loosen the water pipes. Probably a good idea to order new O ring seals. Very happy with the pump although delivery was a little slow.
